BLOOD DRIVE
The bloodmobile will be on the Rally grounds on Sunday, November 4 from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m. by the exhibitor tent.  Please set aside some time to save a life and donate blood.

The Good Sam Culinary Experience, sponsored by Camping World, is back by popular demand!  Learn the latest and greatest cooking techniques from the Food Network’s Surreal Gourmet, Bob Blumer, and RV Kitchen host Evada Cooper.

DOG SHOW
The 11th Rally Dog Show takes place Saturday, November 3, at the Day Stage at 10 a.m. Sign up your pooch at the optional activities desk in the Rally Registration/Information Center.  Click here to register your pooch in advance.

ELECTRICITY – IF YOU’VE ORDERED AND PAID FOR IT
Generator-powered electricity in all parking areas will be turned on at 8:00 a.m. on the first date purchased.  Electricity will be turned off Monday, November 5, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.

EMAIL AND ONLINE SERVICES
Daytona Rally guests have free use of computers for online access in the CyberLounge located in the Media Room. The CyberLounge is available during regular exhibit hours only. Guests are gently reminded to keep their online time to a minimum so other guests may use this service.

Free WiFi will be available to guests with their own laptops and can be accessed in the Media Room.

Game Tables will be set up for your enjoyment in the Yellow Garages #’s 25, 26 & 27 Thursday – Sunday, November 1 – 4, 2012.

GENERATORS
Generator use in general parking areas is restricted to the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.  There will be a 24 hour generator parking area for those that need to run their generators 24 hours a day.

GOLF CARTS
A limited number of authorized golf carts will be available for rent through the Good Sam Rally’s show decorator, Hale Expo Services, on a first-come, first-serve basis and are primarily for guests with mobility issues.

Accessible Golf Cart Service:
Golf cart transportation will be provided for those guests who have registered in the accessible parking areas. The Good Sam Rally golf cart service will transport those guests parked in the accessible parking areas to and from their RVs to the activity centers.

Accessible guests who choose to park in standard parking lots may use the Good Sam Rally golf cart service to travel to and from the tram transfer stations only. Accessible transportation to and from the standard parking areas is not available.

GOOD SAM “SMILES”
When you register, you will be given a number of Good Sam “Smile” tickets, which you can place in the Smiles Drawing Receptacle located at Registration and also in Booth 543 & 545.  Winning Smile tickets will be drawn daily, and winning numbers will be posted in Booth 543 & 545.  You can also “earn” more Smiles by participating in Rally activities and visiting participating vendor booths.

GUEST BADGES
Public gate patrons are required to wear guest badges provided when they enter the grounds.

HONEYWAGON and WATER SERVICE
Honeywagon and water service will be provided by United Site Services.  Cost will be $40.00 per service, cash only.  Call 800-791-8748 to schedule service directly with United Site Services.  Honeywagon and water service prices are set by the service provider, not The Good Sam Rally.

LOCATOR CARDS
Locator cards are the only way of finding you in the parking area if we need to locate you in the event of an emergency. After you are parked, a parking staff volunteer will present you with a locator card with your parking location information. Please bring the completed locator card with you to the Rally Information/Registration Center to complete your registration process.

MAIL
Beginning Wednesday, October 31, mail is delivered to the Daytona International Speedway daily, sorted, and available for pickup after 10:00 a.m. at the Rally Information/Registration Center. Incoming and outgoing mail may be deposited or retrieved at the Rally Information/Registration Center October 31 – November 4, 2012. There is no U.S. Post Office Substation on the Rally site due to postal regulations and staffing issues. Sorry, we are not authorized to sell stamps or provide Express Mail services. Mail sent from the Rally after 9:00 a.m. is mailed the following day.

MERCHANDISE AND SOUVENIRS

OPTIONAL TOURS AND CLASSES
Choose from an array of exciting optional tours and classes at the Rally Registration and Information Center.  Advance reservations required. Tour buses will load and unload at the MalFunction Junction.

PETS
Pets are welcome at the Rally, but please observe the following restrictions. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Please be kind to your neighbors by cleaning up after pets. Due to Daytona International Speedway regulations, pets (regardless of their size) are not permitted in any permanent or temporary Rally building or enclosure. PHOTO/MEDIA RELEASE
Photo authorization and release: By entering these premises you irrevocably and unconditionally consent to allow Good Sam Rally photographers to photograph me and my family at the event and grant permission for Rally organizers to use these photos for editorial and promotional purposes in any medium, including print and electronic.

I also waive any claim for compensation for the Rally’s use or publication of these photos.

PROJECT LINUS – 2012 Blanket Drive
Get Involved!  The Rally is recruiting “Blanketeers”!  Good Sam will partner with Project Linus for a Blanket Drive at all three 2012 Good Sam Rallies. Project Linus is a nationwide non-profit organization that provides blankets for children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. Blankets are collected locally and distributed to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug!

Good Sam Rally guests can get involved by knitting, crocheting, quilting blankets for donation and bringing them to the Rally. Children and new crafters can participate also by making no-sew fleece blankets.

Local Information: The Daytona Chamber of Commerce will have representatives on hand at the information booth to answer your questions regarding local sights, directions, restaurants, and services such as repair shops, gas stations, grocery stores, laundries and beauty shops.

The Rally Office will be located in Bldg N-3, next to the Rally Registration/Information Center.

RELIGIOUS SERVICES
A non-denominational church service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 4 at the day stage.

RESTROOMS/SHOWERS
Restroom and shower facilities noted on the program map will be open 24 hours a day beginning Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

RV Safe Driver Training Program
There will be a six-hour onsite classroom RV Safe Driver Training Program offered on the second Early Bird parking day, November 1, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  This program is designed to increase driver awareness, identify drivers’ abilities, understand and identify drivers’ vehicle(s), determine conditions that affect driving and make participants safer drivers. Everyone completing this course will receive a certificate that may entitle them to a discount on their insurance rates. The terms and amount of discounts will vary by state and company, so check with your insurance agent regarding your RV coverage. The cost is $85.00 per person and includes instructor and certificate of completion (this is not a driving course).  For questions or to register for the RV Safe Driver Training Program by phone, please call toll free (877) 749-7122.

SECURITY
Security will be provided in all parking lots. You must display your Good Sam Rally tow vehicle rear view mirror card at all times to enter the lots. Security will be strictly enforced for your safety, so please carry Rally identification (Rally tow vehicle rear view mirror pass and name badges) with you at all times. For the safety of all Rally attendees, please observe the directions of security personnel at Rally checkpoints and on the Rally grounds. Your cooperation is appreciated.

SEMINARS AND CLASSES
Click here for a list of Classes available for advance registration.   A Seminar Schedule will be posted on the website around the first week of October.

The Daily Schedule in the Good Sam Rally Program will list the times and locations for all the seminars and class sessions. Some seminars are repeated for the convenience of those who may be off grounds during the first presentation of a particular seminar.

SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS
RV manufacturers, aftermarket product manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting at the Good Sam Rally have been invited to provide emergency service performed by trained personnel for Good Sam Rally guests. Since space is limited, service and installation vehicles will be dispatched into the RV parking areas to perform the work. Good Sam Rally guests needing such emergency service must contact the appropriate company at their exhibit booths, and/or at the servicing company’s display area. Service arrangements can be made when the exhibit areas open. Financial arrangements for the payment of service work are the mutual responsibility of the servicing company and the RV owner and are not the responsibility of the Good Sam Rally.

SPECIAL ACCESSIBLE NEEDS
A special information table will be set up in the Rally Registration/Information Center that will provide special accessible needs information.

SALUTE TO VETERANS, SPONSORED BY COAST TO COAST
Military veterans are encouraged to wear whatever part of their uniform still fits and join other veterans in the longstanding tradition of Pass and Review, with Col. James Wilhite, USAR (Ret.), author of We Answered the Call: Building the Crown Jewel of Afghanistan,  reviewing the “troops.” Veterans will meet on the south side of Seminar G, near MalFunction Junction and march to the Day Stage.  Rally-goers may watch from the sidelines. A reception for veterans follows the procession.  Following the ceremony, all Rally guests are invited to place flags on veterans’ graves at the Veterans Memorial Park in Daytona Beach.  Free shuttles will be provided.

TRASH PICKUP
Trash barrels will be conveniently placed throughout the Rally parking areas. Barrels will be picked up daily beginning October 30th.

VINTAGE RV VILLAGE
The Daytona Rally will feature a special Vintage RV Village, courtesy of the RV/MH Hall of Fame.  Spend some time looking at more than 20 RVs of the past and reminisce with their owners!
